Ms. Shaw has performed seismic hazard studies, geologic mapping, geotechnical investigations, geomorphological interpretation, and geophysical studies for a variety of projects located throughout the United States, and abroad. Her project responsibilities have included characterization of seismic sources and executing models to calculate probabilistic ground motions and probabilistic fault rupture hazards. In addition, Ms. Shaw has excellent geologic field mapping and GIS skills and is experienced in geotechnical drilling and soil/rock logging. Recently, Ms. Shaw has managed a large-scale, multi-year geotechnical investigation campaign, leading a large team composed of numerous subconsultants and subcontractors, successfully collecting valuable subsurface information in challenging conditions.
