Dr. Michael Yust specializes in geotechnical engineering with proficiency in seismic hazard analysis. During his graduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Yust focused on seismic site characterization using advanced techniques such as distributed acoustic sensing and full waveform inversion for non-invasive testing. As a staff engineer, he provides support for a wide variety of geotechnical projects including seismic hazard, slope stability, foundations, site characterization, and construction observation, with an emphasis on large-scale seismic hazard analysis projects.
