Sarah Smith, PG

Sarah is a Professional Geologist in California with 5 years of professional experience in geologic mapping, seismic hazard analysis, seismic source characterization, and geotechnical engineering. Sarah has worked on probabilistic and deterministic seismic hazard analyses (PSHA and DSHA) and developed background seismic source characterizations for a variety of project sites across the US. Sarah’s experience also includes characterizing and evaluating the potential for induced seismicity from wastewater disposal, extraction, reservoir impoundment, and geothermal activities. Their geological work has included geotechnical slope stability analyses, site rock mass characterization, rock erodibility, geologic field mapping and drilling, paleoseismic trenching, and seismic source characterizations.
